Outgoing [August]

I had a massive pen pal cull this month  (more to come), so my outgoing was a lot less this month. Though I'm still writing at the same rate as I did before! I'm loosing my enthusiasm and I'm just so busy,i t's hard to find time to write. I'm actually planning a hiatus once I've finished replying to my August mail. It's so hard to really keep on top as soon as you send one thing you receive another. Regardless I will take a break once I've finished replying to all August letters.

I can't lie it was good to break off come correspondences. I'm still finding it hard putting pen to paper to those I enjoy writing to. I was also finding it hard to write to people after long absences, the time issue asides if there is no interact (or rapport) via IG or email it's hard to get back into things.

Anyways the usual mix of birthday mail, thank yous and regular mail as usual. I've worked on some postcards too and few other little things I will have to another craft post at some point.

Outgoing [July]

Lots of colour and love in this month's outgoing. Lots of new stationery supplies form recent adventures helps. As does the constant inspiration from Instagram of course. I'm on a roll too 3 pay it for forward letters went out too. I also managed to get some postcards this month too. I'm finally on top of outgoing but certainly do have a pile of post to replay as will be shown in my incoming mail.

Oh and I did a giveaway on instagram for reaching 300 followers. My package went out to the winner last week! Next month I hope to finish the last of my pay it forwards and get some family letter written.

Postal Notebook

I did a post back in February on my Valentine's Day post to my mum where I used a Moleskine postal notebook. I have loved the postal notebooks since the first time I saw them. They are great as they can be used for long letters, smashbooks, holiday/vacation mail, mini storybooks etc. I've used them for special occasions, events and I'm currently working on a larger one for a friend's birthday.

It makes a change from the usually envelope+letter format combining mail art and letter all in one. There's even a little pocket for a few little extras or more pages if you use up the whole book. The edges are perforated so can be torn off and turned into book for the recipient. Perfect for snail enthusiasts I think whether buy a Moleskine or make your own. Here are some of the ones I've sent so far.
